Linux System Administrator 

€60,000 – €65,000 + Year-End Bonus

German B2

 

Karlsruhe - Up to 3 Days Home Office

In this role, you will operate and evolve the company’s internal IT systems while driving a major infrastructure transformation. You’ll work in a generalist environment with a wide technical scope, minimal bureaucracy, and zero external client pressure.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Operate and administer Linux & Windows servers

  • Manage web/app servers, databases, and CI/CD pipelines

  • Automate and orchestrate infrastructure (Docker, Ansible, Kubernetes or similar)

  • Ensure IT security, monitoring, and backups

  • Support internal users (all tech-savvy colleagues)

  • Contribute to long-term infrastructure redesign

What you’ll have:

  • Proven experience in Linux/Windows system administration

  • Experience with automation, CI/CD, and virtualization

  • Strong networking, firewall, and IT security knowledge

  • Hands-on with Git, Jenkins, Docker, Ansible, Proxmox

  • German level B2 or higher

Nice-to-Haves

  • Kubernetes or other orchestration tools

  • Infrastructure-as-Code or advanced scripting
