DevOps Engineer – Web3 Infrastructure | Remote
Hiring on behalf of a rapidly scaling technology company operating in the cross-chain Web3 & blockchain infrastructure space
Contract Position | 20+ hrs per week | Competitive hourly rates
What You’ll Do
You will play a key role in building and maintaining a global multi-cloud infrastructure powering a high-availability, high-performance blockchain ecosystem. This is a hands-on DevOps role where you will optimise reliability, automate deployments at scale, and drive infrastructure excellence across distributed systems.
You will:

Design, deploy and maintain the internal DevOps platform supporting global server orchestration

Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)

Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Helm and Ansible for large-scale node & microservice environments

Implement monitoring and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry)

Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure 99.99% uptime and low-latency performance

Enforce security, identity access and infrastructure hardening across multi-cloud environments

Support incident response, system alerts and disaster recovery planning
-
Continuously improve resource efficiency and deployment speed
What You’ll Have
The ideal candidate will bring:

3–5+ years of DevOps, SRE or platform/infrastructure engineering experience

Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform and CI/CD systems

Experience operating multi-cloud environments such as AWS or GCP
-
Strong Linux, networking and system security knowledge
-
Monitoring & observability tooling experience, plus incident response capability
-
Scripting abilities in Python, Go or Bash
Nice to have:

Background in blockchain, distributed systems or Web3 node infrastructure

Experience with tooling such as ArgoCD, Vault or Harbor
-
Passion for automation, decentralisation and open-source engineering
